Left Luggage Theatre’s co-artistic director, Verity Quinn is collaborating with North East-based designer and maker Molly Barrett on a new site specific piece for black box spaces.

Verity and Molly have worked together on a number of site-specific theatre and visual arts projects in the region and have just been awarded a Creative Residency at Northern Stage, Newcastle. Verity and Molly have drawn together a team of exceptional collaborators who bring a host of skills from a range of art forms. This team of artists will be able to explore the potential of light, sound, film, music, storytelling and puppetry all with a strong design aesthetic. This is the first phase in a development process which will eventually lead to the development of a site specific performance that can easily tour to venues across the UK and further afield.
